Villa An-Cala Location
Villa An-Cala is about a 30 minute walk into Playa Blanca or you can walk down to the Hotel Rubicon Palace which is a 10 minute walk where you can get on a bus which is around 1euro per person and this will take you into Playa Blanca. If you have a car there are many places to park and they are all very close to the beach.
Playa Dorada Beach
Playa Blanca has a beautiful beach called Playa Dorada, here you can hire Jet Skis, Pedalo's, Banana boat rides and also parascending, the prices are all on a board which is situated on the beach. Playa Dorada Beach has a lovely beach café which is very reasonable; it also opens in the evening where you can relax to soft playing music looking out at the Island of Fuerteventura.
Papagayo Beach
Papagayo Beach is known to be the most perfect beach in Lanzarote, there are boats that take you to it and pick you up at set times, these you will find at the harbour in Playa Blanca
Local Resturants
There are many fine restaurants and shops in Playa Blanca which is a lovely stroll along from the old harbour.
Canario Tipico: Superb food
Texas Rancho: Amazing and the bbq is a must for the meat eaters
Spices Curry: Very nice
Even the Chinese restaurants are very nice and all very similar.
This is just a few that are recommended.
A 5 minute drive or 10 minute walk from the villa down to Natura Palace Hotel and you will find more restaurants, El Argentino where the steaks are very good. There is a Greek restaurant and Italian restaurant next door. There is a beautiful cocktail bar there too where you can relax in wonderful surroundings on fabulous loungers looking out to the island of Fuerteventura. Here you will also find the Diving School.

The Timanfaya Volcano is worth a visit, as this is a sight that you cannot believe until you see it for yourself
